Our Purpose
Our purpose is to help improve both the quality and quantity of early years education in The Gambia by:
- helping the pupils to reach a level of development that means they are well prepared when they move on to their primary schools (at age 7 in The Gambia), particularly their literacy and numeracy attainment, and
- building a cohort of excellent pre-primary teachers through training workshops, coaching in their classroom s, career progression opportunities and a motivational remuneration package.
